What is Adaptie?
- Adaptie is a service that enables citizens to “adopt” and take care of specific areas or maintenance tasks designated by the city.
- The city can offer a variety of areas or tasks, for year-round, short-term, or one-off “adoption”.
How does it work?
THE CITY
identifies the area or task that needs to be taken care of.
YOU
as a user of the application, “adopt” the area you want to help with, and devote yourself to it for the specified period of time. The specific activities you will do for your area are agreed between you and the city, but they might include shoveling snow, raking leaves, taking care of a children's playground or communal front garden, or more.
WIN
you and the city! You get pre-agreed rewards in exchange for your work, and your neighborhood receives efficient and effective care.
AN APP FOR CITIZENS
You can use Adaptie on Apple and Android devices. After downloading the application, simply register and choose the area you wish to take care of.
Through the app, you’ll receive requests from the city to take care of various activities in your area. Once agreed, you simply send a photo record of the work you do, and then receive your rewards from the city.
AN APP FOR CITIES
The city can simply draw on the map any areas it wants to offer to citizens for adoption.
It has an overview of which citizens have registered and which areas they are taking care of. It can send invitations to citizens to carry out new activities on existing or new areas. And much more...
